Browsing Deviant Art

Tue May 27, 2008, 2:06 AM
I'd be very interested if you came to my page to share with me how you try to mark the most beautiful works you find out there.

Here are my two methods.
First method :
I launch the default home page of the deviant Art website.
I then make a selection of the artworks that, at first sight, seduce me. Each selection is opened in a separate tab of my web browser.
Then i browse each artist's gallery and zoom in for the artworks that definitly catch my eye.
In the end, according to the number of favs i extracted from the artist's gallery i choose to watch the artist or not;
Most of the time i leave a message about what i thought/felt during my browsing.

Second method:
I go to an artist i already marked and browse his favs, most of the times these artists have works close to theirs. This kind of method is more theme-oriented.

What is your method, how does it help you to find similar artists or at the contrary opens up to new possibilities?

Thanks for your answers guys!

92% of deviantART posters use a quote like this. If you're one of the 8% that doesn't, copy and paste this into your signature.
